"ADORNING THE MUSE" PENDANT COLLECTION
Los Angeles, CA, (August 20, 2007) –Lori Patton, jewelry designer and founder of Heartworks by Lori, has just announced the launch of her newest line of jewelry, the "Adorning the Muse" pendant collection. This new collection of timeless treasures, handmade by Patton, was created in partnership with acclaimed artist Greg Spalenka, whose beautiful and magical artwork inspired Patton to design and launch the collection.
Spalenka is famous for his award-winning imagery and visual development. His works have been published in Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Spin, DC Comics, New York Times, Los Angeles Times and more. He has also worked as a Concept Designer for films such as The Ant Bully, The Golden Compass and Escape from Planet Earth.
In addition to Lori’s handmade colorful and charming jewelry made of semi-precious stones, fresh water pearls, gold and silver, this new collection also features stunning artwork pendants surrounded by brass filigree detailed frames. “The styles are antique and classic, yet breathtaking and artistic,” says Lucy Derby, editor-in-chief of The Review Connection. Some of the more notable pieces made with vintage-inspired antique filigree frames are the "Messenger Grande," which portrays an ethereal woman against a vivid green forest backdrop and "Blessings Grande," which depicts a woman with a rich, flowing blue dress underneath an arch. The petite "Saintess," which displays an oil painted angelic princess, will also flatter those with a feminine flair. Other exclusive collections are planned for the future.
